The goal or main objective of online roulette is to correctly guess the slot number where the ball will land. It is purely a game of chance and the player will play against the dealer. The dealer would be responsible for spinning the wheel, the ball and paying out the winner.

There are two popular variations, American roulette contains 36 numbers, 0 and 00 slots while European roulette has 36 numbers and a 0 slot.

Roulette can have up to 8 players each table and the players change their money for special roulette chips which has a different color for each player so that they will not mixed up.  Online roulette on the other hand does not need different colors for each player because there is only one player for each table.

The game starts with the players placing their bets on the roulette table and it can be on numbers 1, 2, 3, and so on, or they can bet on the colors black and red, they can also make bets on whether the ball lands on an odd or even numbers or if it lands on a small number from 1-18 or big number 19-36.

The dealer will then spin the roulette wheel and the ball launches, when the dealers announces that bets will not be accepted anymore, then the betting stops. When the ball lands, the dealer will announce loudly the winning number and immediately pays out all the players with winning bets and those that did not win loses their bets to the casino.

Unlike other online casino game, roulette does not need any special skills and is very simple and easy to learn.
