Online Bingo Rules
Online bingo is an easy and fun game for everyone and like any other games it has rules that you need to be aware of. A player buys bingo cards with numbers in a 5×5 grid with five rows and five columns found under the five letters of the word BINGO and when buying online, the bingo cards are randomly selected for the players.
Players then have to mark their cards according to the numbers drawn and announced by the caller but it has to match the corresponding pattern of that game. A bingo card has 24 numbered spaces and a free or blank space in the middle and numbers are randomly assigned to each space. Bingo patterns can either be 5 numbers in a vertical, horizontal or diagonal pattern.
The assigned spaces for a bingo card are as follows:
Under the “B” column – any number from 1-15
Under the “I” column – any number from 16-30
Under the “N” column – any number from 31-45 with the a free space in the middle
Under the “G” column – any number from 46-60
Under the “O” column – any number from 61-75
Each number can only show up once in a single bingo card and there are other variants of bingo with numbers reaching as high as 90.
The numbers are represented in a ball placed in a rotating bin with the announcer rotating it, drawing a ball and calls it out to the players. Each player should clearly mark their cards if the they have the number called and you can either dab the cards yourself or let it automatically be dabbed for you which is preferable if you have 3 cards or more. The player that first completes the bingo pattern of the game calls out BINGO! and wins.
